GTCL posts Tk 36cr profit
Gas Transmission Company Ltd (GTCL), a concern of Petrobangla, posted a net profit of Tk 36.25 crore in 2002-2003 fiscal year.The company earned a revenue income of Tk 144.42 crore in 2002-2003 recording a 20.75 percent growth over the previous year, says a press release. Chairman of Petrobangla and acting Textiles Secretary Muhammad Azizul Islam disclosed this at the 10th annual general meeting of board of directors of GTCL held recently in Dhaka. The company also contributed Tk 141.32 crore to the government exchequer.
