Palakar, a theatre school for children, starts its journey

Television actress Rumana Rashid Ishita formally inaugurated the theatre school Palakar at the 46 Dilu Road, New Iskaton on January 2 in a ceremonious programme. The school has introduced a two-month-long course for children on acting to make the children self-confident. The children will be able to improve acting and announcement skills with interesting learning items through this course.The first batch of students has been named Shakal Belar Pakhi. At the inauguration event children sang Aj Krishnachurar Patay Agun Legechhe and treated them with sweetmeats and garlands of flowers. The head of the school Aminur Rahman Mukul talked about Palakar students. After he spoke Ishita came on stage and inaugurated the school by lighting up candles. After the inauguration the Palakar Class-Act production The Honourable Tiger was staged.
