Over 1,000 held,8 firearms recovered

Police arrested 1,099 more people, including one listed criminal, during their ongoing countrywide drive in last 24 hours till 6.00am yesterday.They also recovered eight firearms, five other weapons and 115 rounds of bullet. Nine cases were filed against 17 people under the Arms Act, said a press release issued by the police headquarters.
