Hasina visits houses of three peacekeepers

Awami League President and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Sheikh Hasina yesterday visited the residences of three army officers, killed along with 12 others in a plane crash in the West African country of Benin.Hasina went to the houses of Major Rawnak Aktar at Dhanmondi, Captain Fariduddin Ahmed at Sabujbagh and Captain M Rafiq at Uttara in the city. She stayed for some time with the family members of the deceased and consoled them. Among others, Major General (retd) Tarek Ahmed Chowdhury accompanied Sheikh Hasina during the visit, said a party press release.
