Saddam to be tried -- for what?

Saddam has been arrested by the American forces from a hide out and the entire western world is jubilant over this great achievement. The debate has already begun on where should Saddam be tried -- in Iraq or in an International Court.

My question is for what crime or offence should Saddam be tried? A shameless attack on Iraq was ensued by Bush and his henchman Blair on a baseless ground that Saddam had built up huge Chemical Arsenal to be used against innocent countries like Israel, America or Britain. A big team of experts were deployed to investigate the hidden 'Lethal Chemical war hard' and the whole country was ransacked including Saddam's residences & even mosques. Gradually when it became evident that the investigation would reveal nothing and it would be difficult to grab Iraq's oil fields, Bush imposed an impossible condition that Iraq must expose those so-called chemical arsenals and fixed a deadline failing which Iraq would be attacked. Then he captured Iraq devastating the country except it's oil installations.

Even almost after six months of occupation Bush failed to prove his clamouring for lethal weapon to justify his shameless attack on this country killing many lives and destroying the country.

Saddam could be a ruthless tyrant to his people but he just defended his country against aggression. Saddam has done his best to protect his country and his people and this will remain in the record of history.

The question now is who should be tried? How could this wanton aggression by Bush and Blair be ignored by the conscience of highly civilised people of western world, who are in the great race for capturing business in Iraq though Big Brother alone is swallowing everything.

More than 500 American soldiers have been killed and more getting killed every other day in Iraq. American people should realise that those boys are not martyrs or died for a noble cause but killed as intruders keeping up the tradition of their fore fathers.
