The leaders of the parishad announced the programme at a press conference at the National Press Club yesterday.

The parishad also demanded the implementation of two agreements signed with the communications minister on August last year.

The transport leaders expressed resentment over non-implemen-tation of the agreements.

Joint Convenor of Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Malik-Sramik Oikya Parishad M Gaffar Biswas, General Secretary of Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Samity Mashiur Rahman Ranga, President of Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Sramik Federation Waziuddin Khan, President of Bangladesh Truck Malik Samity Tofazzal Hossain and transport leaders from different divisions were present at the press conference.
