Last round of DU Senate polls tomorrow

The last round polls of the registered graduate representatives in the Dhaka University Senate will be held at two centres on the DU campus on June 2. The voting will begin at 9am and continue till 5pm at the TSC and Gymnasium Centre. Elections at 34 centres out of 36 outside the capital were held on May 22 and 27 to elect 25 representatives to the DU Senate. Pro-government Jatiyatabadi Oikya Parishad and opposition backed Ganotantrik Oikya Parishad nominated 25 candidates each for the election.
